A PSD will will work just fine so you can edit type.
Thanks Russell! That worked great! Now I'll start actually using CS4 that I've had for a couple of weeks now. This was the major reason I have continued with CS3 because using the PS Web Photo Gallery control panel in Bridge and being able to use my HTML/CSS customized templates was importan...
Just to let you know that I followed the instructions in the PDF. Here they are sightly re-edited by me: Close Photoshop and use Explorer to view the extra stuff on the CS4 install DVD. Here's what you need to copy from the Photoshop CS4 install disk and where it goes:
Hello all, I'm using Photoshop CS 8.0 on WinXP, but when I load images for Web Photo Gallery, it shows the error as: "This is an error disbling controls for missing tokens. Some files or folders for selected style might be missing."
Now the discussion is getting interesting, even though I definitely side with Bart and Phos on this.
You must use the Sexy Lips filter.
If you solve your problem, come back and tell us how it went. I can't see how scripting can take data from one image and put it into another, but Photoshop has been amazing me for years by doing stuff it shouldn't be able to do.
ATM isn't supported under Vista, and it isn't needed under Vista or XP, both of which natively support Type 1 fonts. If you want a font manager, use one that has undergone development since the late '90s.
Below is a list of the Photoshop CS4 and Bridge CS4 features that are accelerated by a GPU. To read more about these features, see "GPU accelerated features in Photoshop and Bridge CS4" (TechNote kb405745). OpenGL/GPU features in Adobe Photoshop CS4 are: Smooth Display at ALL Zoom Levels
nice find! :)
uggh* ATM? This product has not been updated in eons and was no longer required ever since Windows 2000 (which natively supported PostScript fonts), so what would you do with it in Vista? Install the fonts in your normal Windows Font directory or the Adobe fonts directory. You can use tools...
You guys could all get Macs we have really nice OS level thumbnails. B)
I'm not sure you can do that in Photoshop. You probably need one of the Adobe tools for video, like Premiere or After Effects.
It isn't. It just means that some features will be considerably faster with acceleration. The only feature that really hinges on OpenGL is canvas rotation, as it's merely a secondary buffer transform applied to the (software-rendered) image. 3D and zooming function without hardware as w...
LOL. Re slice dimensions, you can actually see them in the info palette if you drag one of the edges of the slice over and back one pixel. Would be nice to just have them there without having to drag though Another way to see the sizes is to select either slice tool, right click on
Another really great book it "Photoshop CS3 Restoration and Retouching Bible" by Mark Fitzgerald. I spent a couple of weeks reading/using/learning with this book and it was time very well spent.
hello, Im a car designer working for GM. I have experienced the same problem with the lines not being smooth in Photoshop. I work with a Cintiq 21UX and Photoshop CS2. Sketchbook pro seems to be fine. Im really frustrated with this. It would be nice of Adobe and Wacom to look at this issue seriously.
plug-ins. The fact that it works with any of the CS versions is mostly a fluke and thanks to a third party that did the work hacking it to work. Because of changes made in CS3 the hacking was no longer possible. Shame as Adobe really needs to add a button bar to Photoshop. But, if they haven't
When I did a search on the Extensis web-site, I found that they had sold it to onOne. With that in mind, the following is posted on onOne's web-site: "The all new PhotoTools 1.0 plug-in for Photoshop CS2 and CS3 comes in two editions - Professional and Standard. Both editions are identical with...
Sadly not. There was a major change to the internal workings of Photoshop between CS and CS2. Extensis did not update their plug-in to reflect it.
It isn't public.
lets hope they fix it in cs4 eh :) you'll have to forgive me for not being too hopeful on that one but it'll be interesting to see what they've done anyways!
Illustrator has no tools for saving a file for the web in vector format (other than SVG, which I don't recommend getting into). You save as GIF, JPG, or PNG, just as you would for Photoshop, and vectors are rasterized in all these formats.

Does anyone know of filters to create very old scratched distressed looking photos. I am using Photoshop cs Thanks you
When saving jpgs I'm getting a few that are corrupted. They are color photos but will have a gray area in them. This gray area is completely from left to right but on only approximately top half or bottom have. This gray area looks very similar to the results of using the "high pass" filter. Photos...
Maybe professional designers should not use fonts, stock photos or clipart either.
